How Does the Journey Work?
The journey is much more than 14 days in Guatemala, it's a complete experience that begins weeks before and continues after
Journey Preparation
Before departing to Guatemala, we will meet for a special personal and group meeting, which will include both spiritual and practical preparation.
As part of the preparation, you will receive:
- A unique course on the Mayan calendar "Cholq'ij": on the 20 nawals, which constitute an ancient roadmap for understanding time, cyclicality, and the energies operating in our lives.
- Materials, information, and videos about living Mayan culture, which will allow you to deepen your acquaintance with the history, wisdom, and traditions we will encounter on the journey.
- Personal guidance and practical tools for the trip both in the logistical aspect and in the internal aspect of opening the heart and preparing the soul.
The meeting and materials will allow you to arrive at the journey more connected, more open, and with a living foundation of knowledge and experience – so the pilgrimage will become even deeper and more meaningful.

Integration
The journey in Guatemala creates powerful experiences, ceremonies, and deep moments that continue to pulse in the heart even after returning home. The integration phase is designed to allow processing, internalization, and embedding of insights, so they become a continuous way of life.
What does the integration phase include?
- Closing circle at the end of the journey – sharing, listening, connection, and writing intentions for the continued path.
- Series of Zoom meetings – several online meetings with facilitators and group members:
- Processing personal and group experiences.
- Practicing practical tools (meditation, daily ceremonies, integrative writing).
- Mutual support and continued community accompaniment.
- Personal practice kit – booklet or digital tools for continued connection at home.
- Option for personal accompaniment – private depth meetings for those who choose to continue on a personal journey.

Talia Weinberg
Holistic coach and traditional healer
Talia is a holistic lifestyle coach, traditional healer and multidisciplinary artist, exploring indigenous healing ways in Latin America for 20+ years. Her work focuses on weaving art, ecology, and education as tools for deep personal and community transformation.
As a co-founder of INHABIT and the ethical fashion brand Yumajai, she bridges ancient knowledge and contemporary insights, connecting body, heart, spirit, and earth.
Dror Noy
Social entrepreneur and facilitator
Dror is a social entrepreneur and facilitator working at the intersection of ancestral knowledge and modern innovation for over a decade. His work expresses a deep connection to Mother Earth and processes of personal, community, and cultural healing.
He has lived and worked in Israel, Colombia, Mexico and Greece, leading projects in regenerative culture, community building and participatory leadership using methodologies like Dragon Dreaming.
Local Teachers
Alongside the facilitators, local teachers will open the way to the living Mayan tradition.
Tata Felipe will accompany us throughout the journey, and together with him we will reach temples and work at altars. Through him we will learn about fire ceremonies, local prayer, and how to connect respectfully to traditions that have been alive in this land for thousands of years.
Tata Felipe (Kajkan Felipe Mejía Sepet), born in Tecpán, Chimaltenango, Guatemala, has dedicated his life to the study, preservation and transmission of the knowledge and wisdom of Mayan culture and cosmovision, with emphasis on the Kaqchikel language and tradition. He graduated from high school in humanities and literature and has rich academic training including diplomas in community mental health, indigenous rights, Mayan political management, and other fields of knowledge, alongside practical courses in painting, photography, writing and reading in Kaqchikel, Mayan mathematics, Mayan epigraphy, human rights and Mayan spirituality.
Tata Felipe specializes in connecting mental, emotional, physical and energetic dimensions, and in using healing tools and methods of ancient knowledge to support individuals and communities. His contribution is expressed in academic publications, in translating Mayan knowledge into other languages, in creating frameworks for learning and energetic strengthening, and in active participation in conferences, research networks and community projects. Out of a deep commitment to Mayan culture and its values, he works to transform ancient wisdom into a vital tool for personal, community and social renewal in the modern world.

We will stay at a hotel overlooking the magnificent Lake Atitlán, with breathtaking views of the surrounding volcanoes. The rooms are comfortable and well-designed, many with a balcony or panoramic windows allowing you to enjoy the view from the morning hours. The hotel has an outdoor pool, well-maintained gardens and shared spaces ideal for rest, conversation or simply gazing at the lake. In addition, the convenient location provides easy access to downtown Panajachel – restaurants, markets and local shops, all just a few minutes away.
Changes may occur depending on availability. If necessary, similar places of the same level and character will be selected.
Notes about accommodation
The standard price of the journey includes double rooms (for two people) with a private bathroom. If you are traveling with a partner or friend and wish to share a room, you can indicate this during the registration process so we can place you together. If you are traveling alone and registered for double occupancy, we will pair you with a roommate. Close to the start of the journey, we will hold a community Zoom call to help organize room sharing.
If you prefer a single room, the additional cost is $600 for 10 nights.
